Orlando, Fla. - Scientists’ recent discoveries about the benefits of running water can explain why Bluworld’s water feature products have been in high demand worldwide.
It has been rumored that water’s qualities have long been revered for its soothing and stress-relieving abilities, but recent discoveries show that water’s negative ions can produce biochemical reactions that alleviate depression, reduce stress and boost overall energy.[1] Columbia students’ research shows that negative ion generators have worked as well as antidepressants for Seasonal Affective Disorder, SAD, sufferers, without any side effects.[2]
“Research has shown that the presence and sound of falling water not only cleanses the air, but creates a relaxing environment that people are just naturally drawn to,” said Rob Morton, Bluworld’s director of sales and marketing.
The negative ions found in running water, like in Bluworld’s water features, are constantly purifying the air around us by attracting dust particles and other impurities. Bluworld has more than 10 different types of filtration systems to control the organisms in its water. One of Bluworld’s most popular water features for controlling airborne pathogens is the encapsulated water design. This design allows the water to run down the inside of two panels without carrying bacteria in the water or air or letting any moisture escape. Additionally, maintenance for each Bluworld design only requires 20 minutes a week to drain, clean and re-fill the water to ensure continued optimal quality.
Bluworld has capitalized on this by designing water features with high-technology filtration systems. As a result, Bluworld has installed its water features in various medical facilities and is on the American Institute of Architects recommended list of water feature manufacturers.
Many would postulate that the aesthetic benefits of Bluworld’s water features are just as important as the unseen benefits. High-profile clients like Walt Disney World and Darden Restaurants have purchased Bluworld’s creations based solely on their beauty.
“We’re made of water, we’re born of water, we quest for water to survive,” said Bluworld Owner Sean Drummond. “The water culture we promote is for individuals who understand and admire this relationship.”
Bluworld specializes in sculptures and installations that implement real falling water within a self-contained system. Its items can be incorporated in both commercial and residential interiors.
